Refractive Surgery and Laser

Overview

Eye disorders are quite common problem. There are options for correvtion glasses, contact lenses and laser surgery. Eyeglass and lens treatment is more appropriate until the progression of disorder ceases. Laser and lens surgery may be added to these treatment options over a certain age.

Overview

• Laser: Excimer Laser or LASIK are the most common treatment methods used in the treatment hyperopia, myopia and astigmatism. It is possible to get rid of the glasses permanently with the 15 minute operation performed with the Femto Second Laser.

• Lens surgery: It is possible to get rid of high or moderate myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism defects with refractive lenses (ICL – ICL Toric) that we implant into the eye without or with removing the natural lens of the eye in patients who are not good candidates for laser surgery
